Preparing Students Living with Disabilities for a Career in Law (Recording)

In Canada, 27% of our population identifies with one or more disabilities. Consistently, half of human rights applications filed provincially, territorially, and federally allege disability discrimination.

The engagement of lawyers living with disabilities to provide accessible legal services and increase diversity within the legal profession is more critical than ever. However, barriers to entry persist. Join us for a candid discussion of the challenges and opportunities for law students and articling students with disabilities as they prepare to enter the legal profession.
