Please join us in Ottawa on Thursday, May 24, 2018 for the CBA Military Law Section’s National Conference at the Dow’s Lake Court Conference Centre. This year’s conference theme is cyber-warfare and legal issues around cyber-warfare. Our speakers will discuss definitional issues of "an act of aggression" and "act of war" in the context of a cyber-attack/threat, and emerging national security issues related to increased deployment of cyber-attacks by nation states and non-state actors.
In addition, there will be presentations from the Military Grievances External Review Committee and panel discussions from panelists with a diverse range of backgrounds, including individuals representing the Department of National Defence, CSE,CSIS, and the JAG.
