This gathering will also serve as the Section’s Annual Meeting. The slate for the 2018 – 2019 OBA Pensions & Benefits Law Section executive will be presented for approval by the Section members present at the event.

As they pay tribute to Deborah McPhail, her colleagues will highlight such things as the importance of advancing diversity in the legal profession; practicing with civility in the courtroom and before tribunals; assisting unrepresented litigants; the important role mentoring plays within the legal community; the barriers to and best practices for collaborative problem solving between regulators and the pension bar; and maintaining a work life balance and incorporating wellness principles into your practice.
