Shalini Konanur is the Executive Director and a lawyer at the South Asian Legal Clinic of Ontario (SALCO). Shalini overseas SALCO’s litigation, advocacy and outreach on issues that impact low-income South Asian Ontarians. (To view more, click here.)
Shalini’s own legal practice also focuses on issues of gender-based violence, including forced marriage, human trafficking, intimate partner violence, and elder abuse. She has worked alongside her dedicated colleagues, board, and volunteers to make SALCO a powerful voice for racialized women. Join us on May 17th to honour our distinguished award recipient. Shalini will be sharing her passions and professional experience with all in attendance.
