Practice Management Review Tips for Young Lawyers
Young Lawyers Division (East) | Original Program Date: October 21, 2015
If you are a lawyer with less than 8 years of practice since your call to the bar, you may be selected for a Law Society of Upper Canada (“LSUC”) Practice Management Review. Since 2007, the Law Society of Upper Canada has conducted these reviews to identify any practice management issues, which, if neglected, could have an adverse affect on the quality of legal services offered to the public. Hear directly from LSUC Practice Management Review Counsel on what to expect and how to prepare for a Practice Management Review. This program will provide you with:
- An overview of the Practice Management Review Program;
- What to expect from the process and how to prepare;
- An illustration of the most common deficiencies found during the Practice Management Reviews;
- Strategies to reduce risk in your own practice; and,
- The LSUC resources available to you.
Attend this program to make sure you are not caught off-guard or unawares and to gain insight on the standards to which LSUC holds your practice.
