Understanding Recent and Proposed Changes to the Regulated Health Professions Act

Of particular interest to health law practitioners who deal with colleges that regulate health professionals, this program will address the impact of recent changes to the RHPA and look at what is still to come, including the changes proposed in Bill 21.
Our panel of experienced counsel and representatives from the College of Physicians and Surgeons and the Royal College of Dental Surgeons, will discuss the history around the spousal exemption, the recent passage of the regulation allowing spousal treatment for dentistry, and the steps colleges are taking to meet the looming December 1st deadline set by the Ontario Ministry of Health to set out the steps they will take to attain transparency and fully disclose information about their investigations to the public.
