The Workers’ Compensation Section will be presenting a highly experienced Panel of practitioners who will provide you with an update of recent, significant court and tribunal decisions including the impact of recent Supreme Court of Canada decision in Penner as well recent OHRT decisions in Claybourn and Maxwell on the ability to bring WCB issues in multiple fora. The Panel will also consider the role of the average worker test in mental stress cases. These and other significant cases will be discussed with a view to how they might impact your practice.
