The Mergers Committee of the CBA Competition Law Section invites you to its annual roundtable with the most senior and experienced staff of the Mergers and Monopolistic Practices Branch of the Competition Bureau.
Join us as we discuss trends in notifiable mergers, recent Bureau outreach on SIR practice and procedure, the Bureau’s draft efficiencies guide, a new Bar-Bureau task force into merger review processes, and debating potential improvements to Part IX.
As ever, participants will hear from Bureau management on its key priorities and have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on the topics discussed. This event will be hosted by Charles Tingley, Partner at the Toronto office of Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP.
