The CBA Competition Law Section's Economics and Law Committee presents:
Revisiting the Competitive Effects of Minimum
Advertised Pricing (MAP) Policies
June 27, 2018 | 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM Eastern
Format: Teleconference
Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) restrictions, a type of vertical restraint, can have pro- and anti-competitive effects. Our panel will examine the economic implications of MAP policies and under what conditions such policies can have an adverse impact on competition. Further, we will discuss the Bureau’s perspective and enforcement history pre- and post-amendment, and what it all means for practitioners advising clients who consider implementing a MAP program.
