TOPIC: Labour Abuses and Supply Chain Management
SPEAKER: Kevin Coon, Baker McKenzie
Kevin Coon is the managing partner of Baker McKenzie, Toronto office. He provides advice on international human rights, ethics and local and international labour laws. The topic will cover trends in regulation of labour abuses and market practices in supply chain management policies and certifications.
The Canadian Museum for Human Rights will also provide a twenty-minute visit to the Canadian Journeys to review the General Strike which changed labor relations for Canada prior to the dinner.
Cost - $70.00 plus GST per person. Dinner will be a three-course meal with chicken and steak. Please advise of any dietary restrictions. Cash bar. Seating is limited.
