Synopsis
Rob Dhanu, KC, delves into the intricate nexus of criminal issues for immigration lawyers. Dhanu navigates attendees through the complexities of criminal issues that intersect with immigration law, from understanding the implications of criminal convictions on immigration status to strategies for mitigating such impacts.
Members are encouraged to bring questions to the meeting.
About the Speaker
Rob is a former Federal Crown prosecutor who now practices in the areas of criminal defence, family law and personal injury. He is an experienced litigator who has taught and presented on various legal topics including for the RCMP, Justice Institute and the Canadian Senate.
