Synopsis
The adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in the workplace is increasing rapidly. As Canadian businesses catch up, advance planning is crucial on the part of employers to ensure they reach legal compliance.
Eric Kroshus provides an overview of the legal framework, proposed AI legislation, and the implications of AI on existing privacy, human rights, and employment laws. Eric also addresses the prominent uses and key considerations around incorporating AI into HR processes, such as recruitment, disciplinary decisions, and wrongful dismissal disputes.
