Admissibility Hearings - Criminal Convictions - Conduct of the Hearing and Preparation of Leave and Judicial Review

On Demand. Originally presented on November 27, 2024.

The speaker practices Immigration Law in Edmonton and will draw on his experiences conducting Admissibility Hearings and will examine a few unique aspects of the consequences of a criminal conviction, including the use of an Alford plea - a plea asserting innocence but a willingness to plead guilty - for the test for admissiblity.

If you wish the speaker to address particular questions, email them to Taha Hassan at taha@hblawyers.ca
