An Overview of Child Inclusive Mediation and A Discussion of the Role of Child Counsel as Settlement Counsel

The presentation will provide an overview of an Child Inclusive Mediation process that uses the Meeting with Children approach to allow for the mediation of parenting matters to address the views and perspectives of the children. In addition, the presentation will address how Child Counsel can be used to promote the settlement of parenting disputes outside of the typical court process including in mediation, arbitration or settlement meetings.
