Great food, great music, great people - the OBA BLOCKO!

During Black History Month, as we pay tribute to the history of Black people and communities in Canada, we also want to recognize those who are moving forward the wheel of history in real-time. As a home for diversity and inclusion in the profession, the OBA especially celebrates the Black lawyers who positively contribute to the Black community and to the OBA’s own community of lawyers.

This month, in the spirit of community-building and celebration, the OBA is proud to host our fourth annual Blocko on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 5:30 pm – 8:00 pm.

Black law school students and new lawyers are especially encouraged to attend. We will have lawyers from the OBA’s #InclusionAcrossOntario social campaign mingling while guests enjoy community-connections, delicious food, and the transcendent musical beats of DJ MixMaster Caesar .
