OBA Women Lawyers Forum PROGRAM | 6.00 PM to 7:30 PM
We often hear the words stressful, demanding and challenging to describe the nature of legal work. What we do not hear often is the positive and rewarding aspects of building a career in law. Gain insight from our mental health experts on how legal professionals are incorporating health, wellness and good habits in their professional lives. Our engaging panel will discuss how lawyers can build resilience while juggling the demands of superiors and clients, as well as competing deadlines.
Join us for a much needed conversation about the skills women lawyers need to remain healthy in and passionate about the legal profession. Share your own personal stories of resilience. Explore what it truly means to be resilient, and to thrive as a lawyer.
*Attendees are encouraged to share their personal stories of resilience; such as a time you overcame an obstacle at work, how you built a thriving mental wellness routine, or any other way you have successfully grown your resiliency. Submissions must be 200 words or less, and can be emailed to wlfquestions@oba.org, prior to September 5, 2018. Please indicate whether you would like to present your story at the program or if you would like someone to share it on your behalf anonymously.
