Description

In celebration of Asian Heritage Month, we are pleased to invite you to a special film screening of But I Look Like a Lawyer hosted in partnership with the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers Atlantic (FACL Atlantic).

This powerful documentary, an initiative of FACL BC, shares the lived experiences of members of the Pan-Asian legal community, highlighting stories of discrimination, stereotyping, and bias faced in the profession.

The evening will begin with a private screening in the Gallery’s theatre (approximately 30 min), followed by a reception upstairs featuring delicious food from a local Asian restaurant — a chance to connect, reflect, and celebrate the rich contributions of Asian Canadians in law and beyond.

Space is limited — RSVP today to secure your spot!
