Join us during Mental Health Week as we learn about the importance of fostering a psychologically healthy and safe environment in our workplaces.
In this 1-hour virtual session hosted by the Canadian Mental Health Association, participants will learn how to communicate with colleagues in a way that promotes mental safety and supports wellness. Participants will also be introduced to the voluntary national Psychological Health and Safety Standards.
In this session, participants will learn:
- Guidelines for creating a safe space for colleagues to disclose mental health concerns
- Ways to use inclusive, non-judgemental language to create a culture of psychological safety
- What the Psychological Health and Safety (PHS) Standards are and why they were created
- The 14 factors addressed in the PHS Standards
- Some first steps toward implementing the Standards as an organization
