Beyond Groia: Civility, Good Faith, and Professional Misconduct

Earlier this year, the Supreme Court of Canada allowed Mr. Groia’s appeal in Groia v. Law Society of Upper Canada, clarifying the approach   for determining whether in-court incivility amounts to professional misconduct. The SCC also confirmed the standard of review applicable in this specific context.
