Revamping Data Privacy, Security and Employment Policies in the Age of AI: Creating AI Policies that Harmonize with Organizational Objectives

For contemporary employees, AI presents opportunities to reduce or eliminate administrative tasks and the chance to concentrate on the essential facets of their jobs. Yet, the rapid pace of AI's influence on our lives is disconcerting for most people, especially considering its potential effects on employment.

Advance your understanding of how to craft AI-related policies that respond to the ever-changing legal landscape surrounding data privacy, security and employment issues for the modern workplace. Amplify your awareness of how artificial intelligence-driven automation will impact workers and:

  • Define ethical principles that govern AI utilization in the workplace, taking into account transparency, accountability, fairness, and alignment with the organization's values and mission.

  • Make sure automated employment decision tools (e.g. data analytics, artificial intelligence, and statistical modeling) are used in a way that reduces bias in hiring and retention and does not reaffirm it: understanding the dangers.

  • Stay up to date on new employment and data privacy law issues arising due to the increasing use of AI.

  • Delineate policy objectives, appropriate scope, including AI system and application types, and roles and responsibilities.

  • Formulate guidelines for developing, implementing and utilizing AI, especially including generative AI, in the workplace.
