Decrypting Immigration and Refugee Law:
Technology, Policy, Process – Canada’s 2024 Immigration Conference
Cracking the code to navigate complex Immigration and Refugee policy and process challenges
CBA’s largest in-person conference on immigration, refugee and citizenship law is back again in person this spring in Montreal!
Decrypting Immigration Law: Technology, Policy, Process is a must-attend conference, featuring three days of key learning delivered by recognized lawyers, judges, and public employees and experts at the front-line of immigration practice and policy. With the ever-changing landscape of immigration in both practice and the media, our sessions will address key topics including the use of Technology and AI in immigration processing and practice, the policy considerations that will reshape Canada’s immigration programs, and the future of immigration law in our complex world. The conference will also include in-depth reviews of key Federal Court cases, and panels on the latest developments in areas such as LMIAs, refugee law litigation and POE applications, issues of impact to the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and issues of wellness and mental health. Our conference will provide a solid grounding in what the current and upcoming issues affecting immigration law and practice are and how to problem solve for them.
A welcome reception, Young Lawyers Social, and Gala dinner will present opportunities to network with friends and colleagues from across the country.
