Join us for a 1-day online symposium. The first part will feature presentations and a panel discussion of the sources of charity law, the institutions that regulate charities, and how these sources of law and institutions interact within our Canadian legal and policy framework.
The second part will feature an update from the Canada Revenue Agency Charities Directorate, a discussion of the new qualifying disbursement rules, and a presentation from The Department of Finance on the legislative drafting process.
Finally, we will feature a case law update and mini presentations on the AMT rules and CRA audits.
