Answering the Call: Creating Healthy Legal Workplaces

LEAD SPONSOR
Lawyers Financial

Almost a year has passed since the research team led by Dr. Nathalie Cadieux released the results from The National Study on the Psychological Health Determinants of Legal Professionals in Canada, painting an alarming picture of the well-being of Canadian legal professionals. Legal professionals in all areas of practice and in all jurisdictions suffer from significantly high levels of psychological distress, depression, anxiety, burnout and suicidal ideation, with those in the early years of practice experiencing some of the highest rates of distress.

Join thought-leaders from law firms, the in-house bar, the bench, government, law societies, lawyer assistance programs, law schools and lawyers at different stages of their careers to address a topic that is critical to the future of our profession. Learn why a successful legal practice depends on a healthy legal workplace and leave with a clear sense of how each of us can contribute to building healthy legal workplaces together.
