Back to Work Legislation: Where do we stand?

Public sector labour disputes are an increasingly hot topic as governments introduce back to work legislation, to keep workers off picket lines, or wage restraint legislation, to limit compensation costs. The recent use of the notwithstanding clause in the context of a labour dispute has only amplified these issues for the broader public.

In this webinar, we will examine the legislative measures employed by government in the context of labour disputes, such as back to work and wage restraint legislation, the constitutionality of such legislation and the use of the notwithstanding clause, as well as available remedies for all parties involved in the labour dispute.

Suitable for employer and union-side counsel alike, as well as for anyone interested in public sector labour disputes, this webinar will provide attendees with an in-depth look at the key issues and interests at play.
