WEBINAR
This webinar is being hosted by Canadian Corporate Counsel Association

Time: Session : April 10, 2025, 12:00 - 13:00 ET

In this follow-up to our previous session on purpose governance, we turn our focus to the practicalities of integrating purpose into corporate governance. This webinar features a panel of in-house counsel from leading organizations who will share their experiences navigating the complexities of purpose-driven business.

From aligning corporate goals with purpose to navigating legal complexities, this session will provide valuable insights for general counsel, corporate leaders, and board members looking to operationalize purpose from governance to day-to-day business operations.

Coro Strandberg, Founding Chair of the Canadian Purpose Economy Project, will kick off the session with a brief introduction on the importance of purpose governance in the modern corporate landscape. Ranj Sangra, CCCA President and Associate General Counsel at Ballard Power Systems, will moderate a dynamic discussion with in-house counsel to discuss real-world challenges and successes in embedding purpose into their organizations' governance and strategies, as well as how their roles as general counsel intersect with purpose-driven decision-making.

***Learn more about the Canadian Purpose Economy Project’s recent State of Purpose Governance in Canada report, published in partnership with the CCCA, as well as the Purpose Governance Guidelines, a comprehensive resource to help organizations integrate purpose into their governance frameworks.
