The Equality Subcommittee is proud to host a three-hour live interactive online event on racial justice. Participants will hear from experts in a live webinar in two parts. Learn about the barriers that racial minorities in the legal profession face and how to dismantle them. It will also offer a virtual opportunity for members across the country to connect and engage with each other.

Anti-Racism Education for Legal Professionals - Interactive Workshop
This workshop aims to provide participants with a toolkit to identify and intervene in systemic racism within legal institutions and society more broadly. Moving beyond a diversity and inclusion lens, the session will encourage adoption of an anti-racist framework through discussion of key concepts and case study analysis, unpacking multiple layers of discrimination.
This webinar portion will be recorded and made available to all CBA members.

The second session will be a panel discussion with legal leaders speaking about how systemic racism in the legal profession can be dismantled. We will hear from leaders from different segments of the profession.
