The 3rd annual forum, hosted by CBA and CIPO, allows members of CIPO and bar to engage in an open discussion in a “town hall” format.
The 2021 CIPO Townhall will include representatives from CIPO’s patent branch, trademark branch, trademark opposition board, and patent appeal board. The CIPO speakers will discuss ongoing initiatives in the different areas, with a panel discussion on the impact of COVID-19 on CIPO operations and service improvements in the upcoming year. CIPO speakers will also provide updates to CIPO’s 5 year business plan and the College of Patent and Trademark Agents.
