OBA PROGRAM | 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM (ET)
This program is the second in a series of eight programs that make up the Foundations in Judicial Competencies Certificate Program.
The second session of the OBA’s Foundations in Judicial Competencies Certificate Program, explores some of the essential pillars of judicial excellence, namely, independence, integrity and diligence.
A judge must portray a keen ability to make independent and impartial decisions. Moreover, judges are expected to conduct themselves with integrity in order to contribute to public confidence in the judiciary, and pursue their duties with the utmost diligence. This delicate balance between the strict requirements of a judicial appointment and the everyday demands of a judge’s personal life, individual development and family can be challenging to maintain at the best of times.
Our distinguished panel will share their insight into how they have developed and championed these qualities over time, and provide their unique perspective on how to balance competing and at times conflicting demands between their work and personal lives.
