OBA Young Lawyers Division PROGRAM | Original Program Date: June 10, 2020
Since October 2018, a new regime governing the recreational production, sale, use and possession of cannabis started coming into effect across Canada. Join the Young Lawyers Division — Central as we present a panel of three distinguished experts on cannabis law to discuss:
- The decriminalization and remaining criminal provisions, including on-the-ground insights
- The federal and provincial regulatory regimes, with an inter-provincial comparison
- An in-depth Q&A with our panelists
This session is a great learning opportunity for lawyers of all experience levels who already practice cannabis law and are looking to expand their knowledge base, as well as those outside of this practice area who are interested in the subject matter.
