On July 30th, the Ontario Government filed O.Reg. 431/20: Administering Oath or Declaration Remotely, made under recent amendments to the Commissioners for Taking Affidavits Act. The regulation came into force on August 1, 2020. This Regulation sets out the circumstances around which a Commissioner of Affidavits can remotely commission a document in Ontario.
