OBA Insurance Law PROGRAM | Original Program Date: August 20, 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted Canadian businesses, many of which have been required to cease or otherwise limit business operations. As a result, numerous business owners across the country have pursued insurance coverage claims for business income and other losses under their commercial policies of insurance.
In this webinar, our panel of Toronto and Vancouver speakers will engage in a substantive discussion on the interpretation and application of common policy wordings that are relevant and potentially relevant to coverage claims for business losses arising from the COVID-19 pandemic.
In advance of this program, we welcome any registrants who have specific questions or policy provisions they wish the panelists to address during the program to submit these inquiries to August 18, 2020 by 5:00 p.m. on August 18, 2020 to mpun@oba.org. We will try our best to raise these inquiries with the panelists during the program. Registrants will also have the opportunity to ask questions during the usual Q&A period at the conclusion of the program.
