OBA Criminal Justice Law PROGRAM | Original Program Date: December 2, 2020

Criminal law cases routinely involve disturbing and traumatic details that arise from incidents of robbery to murder, sexual assault and crimes against minors. Professionals working in the justice system are exposed to this material on a daily basis as they perform their duties and work with clients, victims and families. This continuous exposure impacts a person’s overall wellness, in many cases having a significant detrimental effect on professional and personal lives.

These are early days in the legal profession’s understanding of these key issues. Join our stellar faculty as they examine and encourage a conversation about the impact of this consistent exposure to violent material, and how the legal profession can better take care of its own in order to lead healthy and productive lives.
