For the 2018-2019 school year, Ontario elementary public school teachers were required to teach a past sexual health and wellbeing curriculum. This program will address the key legal and procedural issues raised when challenging matters of public policy by discussing litigation over Ontario’s curriculum change. Join our faculty to update your understanding of the state of the law, including:

  •  Overview of ETFO et al. v. Her Majesty the Queen, & AB v. Ontario (Education)
  •  Choice of forum and intervening
  •  Insights learned from litigation
  •  Analysis of Ontario’s proposed elementary public school heath and physical education curriculum for September 2019, and its implications
