OBA Law Practice Management PROGRAM | 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM

Join the Law Practice Management Section for our inaugural Managing Partner Discussion Group and Scotch Tasting eVent.

Managing Partners of all size firms are welcome to unwind after a challenging day of managing your practice.

Our guest speaker, Omar Ha-Redeye from Fleet Street Law, will discuss the benefits of an inclusive workplace, outline the business case for a diverse work environment and address what “equity” means in a law firm setting.   This keynote address will be followed by lively round table discussions on:

  • Identifying the largest expenses in your sole or small firm practice
  • Insight on how to prioritize client work, manage the business of your firm, and maintain control of your active files
  • Techniques on how to manage difficult clients
  • Overview of how to simplify bookkeeping in your law practice
  • Discussion of what bookkeeping programs your colleagues use and their pros and cons

For those interested in staying for the networking portion of the evening, a brand ambassador from Charton Hobbs, Inc. will lead the group through expressions of Glenmorangie and Ardbeg single malts.  Light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be served.
