OBA Insolvency Law PROGRAM | 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM

This program is also part of the 2018-2019 Insolvency Law Package Series.  Click here for more information and the discount of the packaged series.

Join us for this unique series where past winners of the OBA Murray Klein Award discuss precedent-setting cases in which they were involved, or new concepts and practices in Canadian insolvency and restructuring law where they were at the forefront. This award recognizes Ontario insolvency and restructuring lawyers for their integrity, decency and selflessness in their approach to professional practice. Each panel in this not-to-be-missed series will also consider how concepts introduced in years past have evolved.

Part 2 of the Series:

Evolution of Insolvency Practice - 1968-2018

From receiverships to proposals under the BIA, and CCAA proceedings coming in many different flavours, insolvency practice in Canada has evolved greatly over the past 50 years.  Join us as our panelists examine, through insights into their own experience, material milestones for the restructuring community over the last five decades.
