Description
Join seasoned trusts and estates practitioner Richard Niedermayer, KC, TEP, for a seminar on the use of trusts in estate planning in Nova Scotia in 2025 and beyond. In this session, we will explore the crucial role trusts can play in helping individuals achieve their planning goals – whether that be testamentary trusts, alter ego or joint partner trusts, bare trusts, or other inter vivos trusts. With the ever-changing tax and reporting landscape in Canada, practitioners implementing these strategies or working with them need to keep on top of the “why” and the “how” behind the use of these tools. Whether you’re an experienced practitioner or just starting out, this session will equip you with practical knowledge, current strategies, and a deeper understanding of the use of trusts in a modern estates practice.
