Description
The Supreme Court of Canada released a landmark decision in Quebec (Attorney General) v. Pekuakamiulnuatsh Takuhikan on November 27, 2024. While the case centres around on-reserve policing, the Court’s decision will have wider implications for Crown-Indigenous agreements generally, including mechanisms to challenge Crown conduct within the context of those instruments. Join us for a webinar on January 22, 2025, as we hear from Logan Stack, co-counsel for the First Nations Caring Society of Canada (Intervenor) on the Court’s decision and its implications.
