We are delighted to welcome back our colleagues to the highly anticipated Bench and Bar Reception and Dinner on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

The Bench & Bar brings together members of the legal community from across Nova Scotia (CBA Members and non-members alike), including distinguished members of the Bench.

This year, we’re embracing what matters most to our guests: a relaxed evening of socializing, reconnecting, and building camaraderie within the legal community.

To create even more opportunities for conversation and connection, the awards presentation has been removed from this year’s program.

In the spirit of collegiality and in response to attendee feedback over the years, we are introducing assigned seating at dinner. Our aim is to ensure each table includes members of both the bar and the judiciary. Special seating requests will be accommodated when possible.
