Against Amnesia: a conversation on multigenerational female African Nova Scotian Advocacy
Join us as we delve into the theme of this year's African Heritage Month, Black History Matters: Listen, Learn, Share and Act.
Drawing inspiration from Ms. Walters's 2020 article in the Canadian Journal of Women and the Law, this session will explore advocacy, human rights, the role of African Nova Scotian women in these movements and how society has historically viewed their stories and accomplishments.
