What are a lawyer’s duties and how to ensure your clients’ Enduring Powers of Attorney are valid and effective for both their benefit and their Attorneys. What tools and tips will enhance the advice and services you provide to clients?

     •    Client retainers, information intake and file management
     •    Formal requirements - Property & Financial Affairs, Personal Care
     •    Capacity - determining capacity of a client whose capacity changes during the retainer 
          before signing
     •    Attorneys - managing multiple and alternate attorneys, prohibitions and restrictions
     •    Decision-making hierarchy for an Attorney - client with capacity or with dealing or changing capacity 
     •    Activation of an EPA and releasing them to an Attorney
     •    Additional powers and clauses to include: spouses, compensation, gifts, beneficiary designations,
          digital assets

ABC-NB-CBA reserves the right to cancel sessions due to low registration.
