This session will look at the rapidly changing legal and policy landscape from provincial, federal and international levels as the world looks to Atlantic Canada to assist in the safe and secure supply of energy to the world. Fuel will continue to be a need and as we transition away from traditional sources, hydrogen and ammonia and ammonia alternatives have become an important part of the conversation.  The development of the green hydrogen market is happening at the same time as lawmakers are being tasked with regulation work.  Additionally, governments are looking to address pricing gaps and to provide guidance on green product development, exporting and importing.  As the market emerges, laws and policy are trying to keep up with the pace.  This discussion will talk about the enabling work that is happening around this fast-paced energy source’s growth and the opportunities for Atlantic Canada to be a global leader.
