The Ontario Superior Court of Justice recently released a decision considering in detail how solicitor-client privilege applies under the Competition Bureau’s immunity and leniency regimes for criminal offences. This panel will analyze the R. v. Tri-Can Contract Inc decision, distill important takeaways, and address key implications of the decision for practice going forward.
