Construction Law Boot Camp: An introduction to Construction Law
This is a continuation of the Construction Law Boot Camp series. It teaches introductory level construction law aimed at young lawyers and lawyers whose practice is not primarily focused on construction.
This webinar will examine the structure of various construction agreement standards, and review a number of common construction contract terms. We will also provide an overview of various forms of insurance and bonding that are often found on construction projects.
Topics will include:
- An introduction to construction projects and the role of construction lawyers
- A review of Standard Form Construction agreements
- A review of select common construction contractual terms
- An overview of Construction Insurance and Bonding products
- High level work-through of major points of contract interpretation
