SCC Update: Barendregt v. Grebliunas, Kreke v. Alansari, and B.J.T. v. J.D.
On December 1st the SCC granted a trilogy of complex family law appeals, with reasons to follow, that are expected to dramatically alter the family law landscape and family law appeals. Hear from Professor Rollie Thomson, and Appellant’s counsel on all 3 cases, about the fundamental changes anticipated, the Court’s increasing interest in family law, and what it is like to appear before the nation’s top court.
