Good and Bad Arguments for Competition Law Reform - Keynote Address by Edward Iacobucci
Sponsored by
There is significant interest, including on the part of government, in reviewing the Competition Act. Many topics are up for discussion, and many arguments on all sides advanced. While reasonable people can disagree about the best approach to particular competition law questions, the keynote will focus not on the answers, but on the kinds of reasons that have been brought to bear. There are good arguments and bad arguments, some of which are repeatedly applied to a range of competition policy issues. The keynote will highlight prominent examples of each.
