Interaction of Indigenous and Western Legal Orders
Indigenous legal orders are gaining increasing attention by way of ecosystem and watershed management, and through project reviews and authorizations. This panel will discuss approaches being taken by Indigenous Nations to gain widespread recognition of their Indigenous laws, and means by which those laws are being implemented on a Territory and project-specific basis.
