Tips and strategies will be shared about how to include a client’s experiences with racism when preparing submissions and presenting arguments.

 Topics to be covered will include:

  • Review of recent case law that addresses cultural competency in decision-making
  • The relevance of BIPOC experiences with racism and when this should be included in an application
  • The importance of diversity in decision-making at tribunals and the courts
  • How to implement diversity and inclusion principles within law firms and other places of employment
