Individual and Owner/Manager Taxation
Total Content Time: 6 CPD Hours
This grouping will provide:
- A description of the current regime relating to the taxation of private corporations and their shareholders;
- The various steps that an entrepreneur can take during his or her lifetime to reduce the tax burden imposed on the entrepreneur and his or her family during the entrepreneur’s lifetime;
- The orderly transfer of a business from one generation to another generation;
- Steps that can be taken during an entrepreneur’s lifetime and at the time of the entrepreneur’s death to reduce to the maximum extent possible the amount of tax exigible on the death of the entrepreneur.
We will also discuss the tax consequences of compensation arrangements for employees of both small and large corporations.
