Wednesday November 10, 2021 | 12:00 pm-1:30 pm ET
Our experienced panel of Indigenous mediators from across Canada will share their perspectives on Indigenous approaches to conflict resolution.
We will explore recommended approaches for managing and resolving conflicts effectively in Indigenous communities and organizations. We will explore views on the main challenges in resolving conflicts in Indigenous communities and address a number of pressing questions:
- How and when should we incorporate Indigenous traditions and customs?
- What is the role of spirituality, transformation, and healing in conflict resolution?
- What are effective models of conflict resolution applicable to modern Indigenous communities and the issues they face?
- What are some emerging areas of practice for Indigenous conflict resolution methods?
- How can we improve access to justice while still maintaining high quality of service and skill? And, do so safely and conveniently?
You will hear from experienced mediators and arbitrators from across the country who regularly use multiple forms of remote dispute resolution. Let us help you debug your entry into the future of dispute resolution.
