The Professional Development session will be a mix of informative panel discussions and moderated engaging small group discussions on hot topics in intellectual property. Come learn from our experienced group of panelists about the impact of the Supreme Court’s reformulation of the law on the standard of review on IP practice, the Court’s do’s and don’ts of virtual hearings and critical advice from members of the bench on how to best present your IP cases. Small group discussions will include topics focusing on recent developments in patent and trademark prosecution practice, issues in copyright licensing and fair dealing, developments in trademark litigation, recent pharma patent decisions, summary judgement and injunctions, damages, and IP clauses in contracts.
